The first date exported from Iran is Estameran date. Other names of this date are Samerun, Sembran, Samran and Sayer.
Most of the groves in Khuzestan province are dedicated to the production of colonies and are considered semi-arid cultivars. These dates have easy storage conditions, which has made the export of this valuable product easy and convenient. Its grading is superselect and select and depends on the number of dates per kilogram.
Superselect less than 75 per pound and select up to 75 per pound. Up to 85 per pound…. Up to 110 per pound… .. up to 125 per pound (453 grams per pound)
Sayer dates can be pitted and used as chips along with beverages such as tea. The harvest of this product will be done from the middle of September.

Sayer dates are light brown and not too long, and due to its delicious taste, it is a favorite of many Iranians as well as residents of CIS countries.
